Last week, I bought a '55 Bel Air 235 engine to put in my '51 1/2 ton replacing my 216. Last night finished cleaning and priming block. Took head off and tomorrow taking to engine shop to get checked out and valve job. Found the original timing gears have already been replaced by a PO so make that one less item I have to do. Took some #s off the cam to see if the engine shop can id for me. Hopefully sell some ebay listed items this weekend to clear up my garage/work area.
