Last week I decided it was time to get the old '53 3100 out of the spot in the barn it has occupied for the last 26+ years.

I took off all four rims and rotted tires, cleaned up the rims a bit and put four used tires on them. Using metal valve stems, all four original rims were able to go tubeless.

Saturday we pushed the truck out of it's resting place and to the front of the barn. The rats had made a home under the seat, so I removed it and cleaned out their almost three decades of habitat.

Next up, for this week, I am going to rig up a drawbar, so I can pull the truck out of the barn and around the side for a good overall pressure washing. The drawbar will be necessary (instead of just pulling it with a chain) because the terrain slopes and the truck has no brakes.
