Enlarged the horn contact brush sleeve hole in my new steering wheel. The sleeve it came with was too short and allowed the end of the contact brush to slip off the contact ring when turning and ground on the column (and in some cases rip the end of the contact off and jam it in the column). I bored it out slightly (to 3/8") on a drill press so the original, longer sleeve would fit. The longer sleeve keeps the end of the contact in place perfectly. I also added a PVC sleeve around the mast and spring so there is no chance of anything grounding where it isn't supposed to.
