Ordered a new fuel pump-to-carb steel fuel line from Inline Tube and it arrived yesterday. Installed it this evening and it fit like a glove. The bends were perfect. Was worried about leaks, but after a couple of tightening-loosening-tightening sessions so the flares would seat good I fired up the 216 and not a drop of gasoline was seen. Looking forward to a short cruise this weekend.
