Drilled and tapped 1/2 by 4 by 6 plates to weld to the crossmember for the front mounts to bolt to. really tight squeeze for the 283. Had to mill the stiffening rib of the passenger side manifold for clearance in the frame. I think it will go in now with enough room. Looks like the next problem will be getting the R&P input shaft to clear the drivers side manifold.Its coming along slow but it is coming along.Not going to make it before it snows. Will take it home from the hangar to my heated garage and finish it up over the winter. Why do these things take 3 timeslonger than you think?
