Completed a conversion to power front disc brakes on my ‘56. Used kit from
CCP. Not for amateurs; very fortunate to have had access to well equipped garage and tools (owner retired). Otherwise, the truck remains 100% original, but this was needed for safety while driving in an urban environment. Grabbed one of the under-dash mounts for the floor vent cables from a donor truck to mount on the driver side for the proportioning valve light... looks “store bought” original.

Also, replaced the steering sector with one from the same donor truck; can “feel” the road a little better. Cruzin down the interstate at 65 mph was just glorious!
