Thanks Jim,it's the original grill that to be honest was a bit beaten up when I got it,I just tidied it up a little but doesn't bear close scrutiny.(It's a 20 footer!)
I'd dearly love to get it chromed bearing in mind the re-pops are marginal (imo) to say the least,but the work involved to get it to a fit state to chrome is way beyond what I can afford right now.
The two lower bars in particular are a bit ropey.

I might just bide my time 'til i'm a bit more solvent.
It's lasted 64 years so far so another couple won't hurt. grin
