Hope you have better success than I. I'm unsure of how the GMC VC bolts down but it's got to be better than the 2 top-bolt 216 method.

My last foray into the leaking VC battle has produced a single leak from the VC in the area above #4 & #5 plugs. The steady flow from the rear and manifold side(s) seems to be stopped. So I'm at a quandary on whether to pull it again or just put up with a steady drip over a once steady flow.....

This time I used a thick cork VC gasket and #2 Permatex on both sides of the gasket.
