Hambone helped me put the 261 we rebuilt for the 261 rebuild tech tip back in the truck. Just a little bit of detailing and clean up and the front clip can go back on.

We removed the front clip to make the reinstall easier, but I was also considering disassembling it to treat any rust issues. I didn't see any rust issues worth worrying about, so I decided just to clean up the mating surfaces (where the fenders attached to the firewall/cab corners) and just leave it alone for now. Cleaned 68 years' of gook off the front frame and got down to the original finish. No pitting smile
