In fact it is. I found a spray can of it this AM while cleaning out the garage. It would have to be 15 years old. The problem is, there is no spray tube so I can direct the spray to the hinges.
The old stuff we used at the Ford dealership came in a tube. I don't remember how we applied it to the hinges. It's only been 48 years.
