Mounted the hood latch and it functions like it should. Mounted the spare tire carrier on the side of the bed. Now I have to dig through my parts stash for a stock wheel/tire to mount on it.

Found a seat thats as close to a prefect fit as I could possibly expect. Gives me more leg and belly room. 1992 C1500 60/40 w/arm rest.

Pulled the fuel filter and dumped a couple tablespoons of rust out. Flushed the line with fuel and put a new filter on. Fired right up and ran smooth. Very little rust on startup. I'm happy.

Now on to power washing the engine so I can read the block casting numbers to verify it is original to the truck.
