I didn't have much luck with the borrowed HF sandblaster.
Maybe it was my inexperience in using it but I fought trying to get it to work all day and finally threw in the towel.
I also tried a gallon of Evapo-Rust and soaked a few parts.
Though the product was pricey for my liking, the results were WOW! My hinges, cab kick panels, vent covers and horn button look fantastic!
I'm looking into making my own soaking vat for larger items after viewing a video on Youtube about an Ausie fella that made his own rust removal operation.
All I need is a large container to accomodate items like bumpers, fenders and a hood!
Any ideas? I am looking into livestock watering troughs, hard plastic pools (I sure don't want to puncture)!
