I charged the battery up and got it running again. Drove it around the yard a little bit and then pulled it up to the garage for the day. I adjusted the valves (engine off, it was less of a mess and mom doesn't have to make me pressure wash the concrete off again), adjusted the carb and timing. I also checked the brake that had been giving me issues and put half a tank of gas in it. Now it runs like a top and sounds great. Brittany helped me clean up the mating surfaces for the valve cover gasket and took a video of it running for me.

I also took the dog to the vet and then went swimming, that turned out to be quite fun, even though I got a chest cold from the water.
