I picked up the rebuilt head for the 216 yesterday. It looks much better!

All of the wheel cylinders are in and most of the new brake lines. I had to wait on a new differential cover gasket before putting the line to the driver's rear.

Had the 11 year old boy in the garage to open the rear diff, he removed all but the top bolt. He is slowly coming around to see how old trucks can be fun to work on. He told his older sisters, "Look, I got a grease stain on my jeans! I am a legit car fixer now." They agreed that he was legit. 

Interesting to see " 4 37" stamped on the pinion. Did they put date codes on pinion gears in '37?
