Well I'll add to the topic for weekend of 27/28. The 54 was popping back thru the carburator. So I pulled the valve cover and found I apparently didn't tighten the lock nut on #5 exhaust valve. Got lucky adjust screw and lock nut laying right there undamaged. Push rod undamaged. Threads in rocker arm damaged, had to wait until monday to get tap to restore threads. Rethreaded put adjuster back in place everything seems fine. Must remmember to double check all lock nuts in future. No Damage I'm Happy.
