I broke two of my new exhaust valve guides over the weekend trying to install them. I finally got the hang of hammering them in, and all the other guides were installed successfully. My arm was like soft rubber afterwards though!
3 more guides are now on the way from "Rock Auto" (one extra for just in case)!
I also snagged an ignition switch on Ebay for $13 and just now bought a set of connecting rod bearings on Ebay for $30.
My Ebay purchased main bearing set arrived over the weekend and the "Jobmaster" decal from "Carter's" should be arriving soon.
I still need a gasket set, starter bendix, throw-out bearing and some paint.
I'm getting closer to finishing that power plant and getting more excited.
