As I’ve already said in an other forum, I drove to Austin and we pulled the 216 out of the donor truck and I drove back to San Antonio with It safely tied down in the back of the truck. I called the owner of the shop where we’re going to do the engine transplant and he met me there and helped unload the motor and put it in the shop. The motor really needs to be cleaned up before we install it, so I’m planning on taking my Honda powered pressure washer to the shop next weekend and giving it a good bath. It was my first time pulling an engine and I learned a lot. Looking forward to helping with the install.
