primarily security as we know that ignition switches can be jumpered. I considered simple hidden kill switches, and other options as well. With no ignition switch this will throw off curious onlookers. I will still have another kill switch elsewhere. The function and use of the GE SBM switch/contacts will not be obvious and i will introduce some "misdirection" in my control logic as well. But the use of the switch is also based on my work with these switches. Makes the truck personal. I will also use the switch to light off a horn if switch is turned by the uninformed.
