Alvin, I have done the same thing twice in the last three years. You'd think the first time would have taught me a lesson.

Both times, the battery had gone bad a few days in a row.
I'd charge them up each day, drive all day, and the battery was fine all day.

Both times I figured out the reason for the dead battery - I'd put the battery on charge and the charger is not automatic (6v: I have to shut it off, or it will keep charging). I'd remember to shut off the battery just before going to bed. I found it was quite easy seeing the battery in its floor-hole location: the overhead light was already on to light the cab (and to drain the battery).

LEDs would drain the battery at a much slower rate.
