I thought I was making progress on the serpentine swap. I initially had purchased a set off an '89 Suburban. Found out it wouldn't work on the TPI swap because the a/c bracket was directly in front of the throttle body. So I located a a/c bracket from a Camaro but found out the hard way that the alternater bracket needs to be swapped too. They look fine until you put the belt on and see that there is about a 1/2" in the two. Lesson learned, when doing a swap like this it's best to start with a complete motor with everything on it. That will save alot of time and money. I was so frustrated that I seriously thought about sticking a carb back on it and call it good. At least it would be running by now.
