I had a threeday weekend, and worked my tail off...friday hauled an old junk car,,and some old lawnmowers to salvage, plus a junk 59 one ton cab and some iron.. theyre payin 120$ a ton so it was worth it.. saturday took my junk profits and drug home a 64 one ton, i want the 4.56 rear end to put in my 54 one ton,,,plus ill get the v8 and tranny plus the mounts outta that one ton,,then haul it of for that 120 a ton.. saturday i also got a sheet of old tank iron to make the floor of my 59 c60 winch truck bed... sunday rode my bike while cool 24 round trip miles down the new hiway that gonna open august 1st.. kinda cool ridin a bike down a hiway in the middle...heheheh,,, and sunday afternoon,,i put a rebuilt hard valves and new guides 848 head on the 54 one ton..finally after about a year it runs like a champ now... now if i can get that rearend in by next month maybe i can drive it to that truck show in KC this year... when is it,,and whos goin..????
