I adjusted the steering box on the '56 tonight. First time I had done one. I followed the '58 manual.

I suspect the box is a rebuilt from Jim Carter because it has a ME part number written on it with paint pen. However, I think the installer just slapped it on there and ran it without proper adjustment. It has had excessive slop since I've owned it. It feels like this helps but I haven't driven it yet.
