I cut a slot about one quarter of the way down the top of my left front fender from the back forwards. Seems like the last owner welded in a piece of metal into the fender to fix some rust. But he did not line it up properly so the gap between the hood and fender disappeared as it went towards the cab. So he cut the fender by the A pillar and moved it outwards. So the door was now too big for the opening and did not open and close properly. aarghh! So after cutting the slot I enlarged the gap and welded it back together. I also cut the other weld and realigned the door. Not in the original plan!
