The odometer in the '62 C10 stopped working a few years ago. I took it apart a while ago to investigate and found a broken gear in the drive section. Since I didn't have the parts to fix it, I reassembled it and put it back in the truck. The Speedometer was still working so I was good with it.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when I was digging in the shed and found the old gauge cluster I took out when I converted to all gauges instead of Idiot Lights. I took it apart and Hurray! The gears in that speedometer were in good shape.

Today I pulled the cluster out of the truck and made a good speedometer/odometer out of the two of them.

It's nice to know how far I've travelled. Total cost? About an hour of my labor. I think I can afford that.
