Just finished my winter must do list. I started 3 weeks ago and removed my 3spd trans and sent it to a long time trans shop in Vancouver(Berts Transmission) to have them stop it from jumping out of third.(Note: I had all ready installed new synchro rings and that had not worked.)They found 4 problems, 3 from PO and the main one was the maindrive shaft( input shaft) being worn out. They replaced it with a rebuilt one.( 1 week turnaround) Next was the poor threads on the diff for the cover. I had to install 4 Heli-coils. I also changed the engine oil and filter, greased all the frame grease points.Next I want to install my Fulton visor.
