There was a small leak in one of the power steering hoses (the high pressure one). When the engine started and the pump began to built up pressure the leak became greater and eventually the pump went dry and the bearing began to squeal and smoke. I cut the engine and we replaced the hose and the pump. That was back in May, it took me this long to figure out Youtube. I'm about 90% finished with the truck now. I plan on oak bedrails and driving it down to Blanco for Christmas with a big Christmas wreath on the radiator. Now that I'm a professional Youtube poster I'll post another as I drive it down the road.
