Finally got the front fenders (outer and inner) off the '53 today. Even after I sprayed the bolts with PB Blaster and letting it sit overnight, still had quite a few bolts that broke. It didn't take much to break them.

When I removed the radiator support, I discovered that the crossmember was broken around one of the two bolt holes. There is about a 2" square hole in the crossmember. Looks like I will have to weld in a patch and then drill the mounting hole.
