I've been working on the 39's bed for the past 2 weeks.

The bed wood was bad, so i pulled it out. I then found out why the bed sides were so warped. A PO had welded in the supports, and they are not the right length nor are they at the right height, so the bed is not level.

I welded in a few holes, patched a couple of bad spots and pounded out a few dents. Rust was removed from the lower part and treated with a rust preventive coating.

I replaced the wood on the front panel too.
