Well, I got all of that done today and got it fired up and running, at least for awhile. Never could get the idle set just right, it would be a bit too high and when I tried to adjust it it would fall off too much and stall out. Finally quit about lunch time at which point I had to keep a little throttle to it to keep it running and then it just shut off. Figured it was out of gas so this evening I went and filled up my 5 gallon can, came back and poured that in and still couldn't get the engine to fire up. Looked at the clear inline fuel filter and it was almost dry. Guess I need a fuel pump now and am wondering if that was why I couldn't get the idle adjusted properly.
