Congrats, Martin!

For my birthday, a few of the ODSS gang helped me pull the 261 back out of the '49 3804. Friday, I left the crankshaft with the machinist who is going to turn it to get rid of the scoring on the main and rod journals (the cause of the low oil pressure that led us to pull the engine. While the engine is out, I am fighting the urge to rip the whole front clip off and change out the rad stand for an uncut one. But if the front clip is off and apart, then it would be easy just to go a few steps further and .... and we all know where THAT ends -- frame rails sitting on two saw horses, bunch of stuff in the rafters in baggies and me standing there wondering, "How in the heck did THAT happen??"

So far, so good ...
