This weekend I took the gas tank out - it surprised me by giving me 6 gallons of 15 year old gas - not sure how to get rid of it. Had to go buy a gas container to put it in. Then finished pulling the seat brackets so I could start cleaning the rust and getting it ready to put on some protective paint. Next weekend I'll attempt to clean the tank. Looks in overall good condition but when I emptied it the first several inches of fuel line were clogged with dirt so the whole system is going to be a challenge. I'll have to search to site to see if there's any clues on cleaning fuel lines.
Use your air compressor to blow out the lines.
