Removed the angle strip on one side of the bed. Did the other yesterday. Have to agree with GMJagger that it is a pain. On the first one I hand sanded the strip since there were a couple of old coats of paint and hard to tell where the spot welds were. On the one today I used one of those plastic type stripping wheels with the drill. That worked well because in addition to being able to feel the dimple since most of the paint was taken off, but it didn't remove all the paint in the dimple. Kind of like spraying a guide coat when doing body work. The dimples of the spot weld showed up nicely. Then hit it with the spot weld drill.
