I pulled the truck out the garage yesterday with a view to going on it's first real shakedown run and to calibrate the electronic speedo.

Long story short the left rear brake caliper took a dump....it's marked it's territory all along my driveway.
On the plus side at least it happened in the driveway at 5mph rather than approaching a set of stop/traffic lights. eek

Ironically the rear calipers are two of the very few second hand parts on the whole truck,well apart from the body and chassis.
I had checked them before fitting and everything seemed to be A.O.K.....

Unsuprisingly the FLAPS here don't sell Firebird calipers or re-build kits. cry
