On Sunday I continued working on changing the King Pins on my 54 1/2 ton. I had no luck getting the old ones removed. After several hours of heating and beating on the old King Pins they would not come. out. I made the decision (or it was made for me by 60 plus years exposed to the environment). I completely removed the axel and I am dropping it off at a local machine shop today. They are an old school shop and do this all the time and knew exactly was I was talking about even though it is a 54.
