I sealed my gas tank with the KBS Coatings Tank Seal Kit. The kit includes cleaner, etching solution and sealant as well as gloves and stir sticks. It was a 2 day process which included overnight drying. Very pleased with the results. I used an Eastwood tank seal kit on a prior project and this sealant is much easier to use.

I had a very clean tank to begin with. 2 years ago I inspected the tank, cleaned out varnish, then cleaned out any rust with muriatic acid, rinsed, dried and then filled with gas. After 2 years it had minimal traces of rust.

Yesterday I rinsed with Dawn dish detergent, water, then the KBS system products. Sealant was added today. Check my 7/25 and 7/26/15 BLOG entries for the photos.
