When I was at the point of weatherstripping the doors I had heard so many horror stories about weatherstripping doors and thought about taking the doors off but, I had heard many more horror stories about hanging doors. That was my motivation for leaving them on.
Luckily I have new hinge pins and bear claw latches. Just got the bolts in, closed the doors and snugged up the bolts. Everything seems to work fine.
