Since my last update in July:
- replacement 216 has had front mount replaced and is installed in the chassis
- connections to the engine have been completed
- front clip is on, radiator is full, and this afternoon it fired up!

Now, while the engine was idling, the fuel pump was leaking fuel on the driveway; appears to be around the body gasket (not the bowl gasket). I guess the time off the engine plus the long lasting effect of ethanol in most gasolines, have taken their toll on the seals and gaskets.

Otherwise a very successful day thumbs_up . After the pump is replaced, we'll try it again.
