It went well. He wasn't too hard on the clutch, or the starter. The manual steering didn't phase him either.

We had a good time and I really enjoyed teaching him. He's not ready for city traffic yet, but will get there in due time.

Thanks for your comments. Passing the truck thing on to my sons is one of the things I enjoy most about this hobby.
