I observed through the hole in the box that my heater core was leaking. I removed the old heater hoses a while back and I learned to patiently and gently cut them from the heater core pipes and not give a twisting or pulling motion to the hoses. I removed the heater core and saw that it is leaking from a couple of places. I will take it to a radiator shop this coming week.
