Today - I put together some photos of the progress on my truck. It's a 1947 - 3800, dually. Here they are

The truck was bought to part out and use the pieces on my original 1947 project. It turns out this truck was in far better condition than my grandfathers, so this one gets the first "rubber on the road". I have had lots of support from my friends at the Old Dominion and locally as well. I would not have been able to turn a bolt without the support and inspiration gained on these pages.

The last photos shows her last weekend. I am finishing off the gauges and will start the wiring next week. I will add more as we progress. The weather in Philadelphia is not cooperating this weekend, hot, humid and stormy.

The truck is nicknamed "Deadwrench". I kept the original axle and installed the 4:10's The engine is a freshly rebuilt 261. Since I plan to DRIVE this truck I chose a 12v. alternator system, 19.5" rims and new radials. The front end is completely rebuilt. 55 is my goal - all day long.
