Pulled the inner door panel off the driver side on the 37 pickup. Took the latch apart to find the spring was broken. Did a little disecting on it and a spare latch and got it back in adn working fine.
Also put a new door handle bezel in but that was a booger and still is not TIGHT. I even used a rubber O-ring on each side but its still a job. I think the tool to install them with is just not up to the task. I bought it 10 years ago when first installing them and still can't get the bezels tight :mad:
But, its back together and much better than it was. So, not a bad day.

I'm holding off on the Tiawan grille till I get back from Lousisane.... and saving up all those little 4 letter words.
