Joe, if you decide to go electric, in my humble opinion you should consider up-grading to a 12 volt system. If you do change to 12 volt, I also would advise you to check with some of the guys in the electrical forum for what set-up they recommend. I bought mine from LMC 6 or 7 years ago and my recollection is a bit cloudy but I remember I regretted the wiper system I bought. Mine is a china made wiper system and as usual with China took some modification to fit. I found out later there was an American made wiper that was superior. Check with that forum and see what they have to say. Good luck!
