Picked up an S 10 gas tank today. It sits between the frame rails and in front of the axle similar to my '48 original. Had to notch the angle brace on the frame, using original tank brackets, gotta make new straps. Of course the fill inlet in on the wrong side. Gotta fab a u-shaped tube to bring the fill to the original location on the side of the bed.
