First off, I'm back after being gone for a couple of years. Been working on my Masters degree, not my truck, but I didn't get rid of it.

Well, I've done a lot in the last couple of years. I combined the good parts from my parts truck with the good parts of my good truck and then got rid of the parts truck. It found a good home with a friend who picked up a 1963 C10 fleetside.

This last couple of months, I have made a lot of progress. I got the engine swap finished (235 to 327), put the new Holley mdl 4165 (650 cfm) installed, installed the VintageAire A/C system in (not charged yet), stripped and refinished the grill/headlight assembly (I went with a 1960 model, I got it with the parts truck), got the cooling system all installed and closed, and installed the new fuel pump..

Over the last couple of days, I got the engine running, even though I had a half a tank of 5 year old gas, put new tires on the front, and last night, I actually took it out for a short, but loud, trip to the local gas station to mix another half tank of high octane in with that old stuff.

I say loud because I have not installed an exhaust system yet. I still have just the factory ramhorn manifolds and nothing else. I'm looking at going full custom dual exhaust with flowmasters (or similar) with the turn outs just in front of the rear tires and under the steps.

That's what I've done to my Bolt recently. :-)
