Given up trying to seal the cheap generic block hugger headers on my '50,the mounting flanges are simply too thin and as a consequence have warped.
I've since scored a set of good ole cast iron ramshorns from a friend and ordered yet another pair of gaskets.
As an added bonus it looks like i'll have gained some extra steering clearance too.
I also fully lubed all the new ball joints and steering rod ends too.
