Removed motor, transmission and enclosed driveline/pumpkin. Replaced pumpkin with a 55T for the future open driveline.

The fun parts were...

1) Right rear brake drum gave us fits getting it off.

2) Enclosed driveline removal was new for us, the shop manual came in handy.

3) The bottom three studs on the front of the rear end housing were rounded off, I guess from running under the truck all those years. The nuts came off, but won't go back on, need new studs there.

4) Transmission came out easily. The collection of mouse skeletons in the clutch bottom cover pan were interesting.

5) There were no bolts between the motor and the front mount, it was just sitting on there.

6) The amount of build up in the rear motor mounts hid the mount to frame bolts from us.

What made this part of the project fun was having an old friend and his son over to help. Great guys, lots of good conversation and laughs as we worked on the truck.
