Friday night I fixed my passenger door lock. I got a used key lock cylinder with the rod that my truck was missing from Oldblue48 (thanks again!). I swapped the little rod over to my truck's key lock cylinder. I ended up taking out the whole door lock/latch assembly, cleaning it, re-greasing it, and reinstalling it. The door that used to have to be shut pretty hard (almost slammed) to latch securely now operates like new, and the lock works using the key. I'm pretty pleased with how it worked out, and am planning on doing the same cleaning/re-greasing on the driver's side one of these days.
