Replaced the old rear spring bushings and pins today. The rear frame shackle bushings are a bear to install.I used a piece of 1/2"grade #5 fine thread rod as a puller. Ran it through the mount and the bushing and tightened nuts on both ends with washers and old king pin thrust bearings. Still had to heat up the frame mount to pull the bushings in but it worked out fine.
The bushings were much easier to install in the springs.And no I didn't heat the springs




These old bolts are in my blood. Hard thing is focusing on just one.
