Got some new hardware, cut some 2.25" tall wood blocks and finally replaced the rotted 2x4" chunks that had been used at the front of the bed. It's a temp fix until I get a new bed front, cross sill and bed floor...at which point I'll get the correct blocks, pads and hardware.
