I fabricated a stainless bellcrank for the throttle linkage on the 261 installation. It didn't work so well so I remeasured and made another template. MEASURE TWICE AND CUT ONCE! The second one works great. Took the truck out for a test drive and all is well. I'm finally finished. Well, almost. There is the issue of repainting the dash and finish detailing the interior, but the engine project is done.
